Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Yevheniia Kyian ("we", "us") governing your use of the PDF Scanner mobile application for iOS (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your own personal or internal business purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.

2. Your content

Documents, images, signatures, and text you create or scan with the App belong to you. They are processed and stored on your device; we claim no ownership of them and do not receive copies. You are responsible for the content you scan and for having the right to scan, sign, and share it.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

• Some features require a paid PDF Scanner Pro subscription, billed through your Apple ID account.
• Payment is charged upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Prices may vary by region and may change; any change applies to subsequent billing periods.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies. To request a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to violate any law or the rights of others; not to scan, sign, or distribute content unlawfully; not to reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or interfere with the App or its security; and not to use the App in any manner that could damage or impair it.

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license above, no rights are granted to you.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that scans, OCR results, or signatures will meet any particular legal or technical requirement. It is your responsibility to verify that a signed or scanned document satisfies the requirements of the party requesting it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 2, 5, 6, 7, and 10) survive.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
